Creative Strategist, Marketing

Kite & Key is looking for a creative marketing strategist who is passionate about the power of digital media. The ideal candidate would have a background in design, social media, digital advertising, and experience driving growth — both consumption and acquisition — for brands. He/she must be innovative and results-driven.

Strengths in Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; past digital agency experience; and/or an interest in public policy — is a plus. This position is full-time remote, virtual, or hybrid.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a subset of Kite & Key's digital channels
• Brainstorm new and creative ways to develop "derivative" marketing content
• Identify new ways to promote video content (via audience-building, influencer marketing, multi-channel campaigns, etc.)
• Oversee and manage digital performance reporting
• Research and develop new audiences across priority platforms
• Surface and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights that shape future video marketing campaigns and promotional outreach 
• Closely monitor consumption metrics but also, more importantly: audience retention, subscriber growth, average view duration, shares, rankings, traffic sources, conversion rates, video-to-engagement ratios, impression click-through rates, lead generation, view velocity, etc. 

Experience and skills:

• 2-5+ years of demonstrated experience in marketing, digital media, and/or creative design
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Sprout Social
• Google Analytics
• Social media ad management
• Video editing skills a major plus
• Cross-functional leadership background 
• Experience developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights 
• Experience flexing between strategic and tactical responsibilities
